This is progress so far...the bottom two layers before molten metal is applied.

This is the original self portrait photo taken a couple of years ago and was part of a set of images used to evoke emotions around mental health issues, but now also conveys physical health issues I am now facing with 2 hips to replace and a lipoma to remove from my right thigh.

I am proposing to use a natural waney edge cherry plank as a canvas for another molten metal painting: Here you can see the plank being sanded and oiled and an offcut to experiment with.
